If you can live without recording, this is by far the best budget friendly thermal you can currently find on the market! The first thing I like is it is small and lightweight. This item you can mount to a helmet, or you can choose to use it as a handheld monocular.
It is so small, you can fit it into your coat pocket! Second thing is the clarity. The detail is amazing - way better when using it in person vs. The video footage I posted. The device has an OLED screen, which is a step up from LCD screens... OLED screens have a better HDR, or High Dynamic Range meaning the contrast between black and white is greater than LCD screens.
The digital zoom is also very nice, but I prefer the wide view, 1x zoom default mode. The thing I absolutely love the most about this product is the fact that this thing saved my best friend - my cat.
