All I can tell you is there is a Gen-3 tube in it that may or may not work? I put new batteries in it and it will not work the switch seems to be damaged. If you turn the switch to the left nothing happens in the ON or IR position. If you turn the switch to the right nothing happens in the ON position. However in the IR position a red indicator light comes on in the left eyepiece. The switch feels like someone tried to turn the switch to IR without pushing. The top button down and damaged the switch.
