The AB Night Vision Low Profile Battery Pack Ground Optimized (LPBP-GO) is an improvement on both the USGI LPBP designed for ANVIS aviation systems, and the Air Ground Warrior Battery Pack. The LPBP-GO is designed to interface directly with a tactical helmet using hook and loop faster or other counterweight pouches like the TNVC Mohawk MK 2 and improves on legacy systems in every way. It is machined from high strength Delrin polymer, making it more impact/crush-proof. It is water resistant, featuring dual battery compartments with rubber O-Rings and a 90 degree throw latching mechanism. The LPBP-GO gives the operator the option to run the system on either two CR123 3 Volt batteries or four AA 1.5 Volt batteries and is activated using an easily-accessible knob.

The AB Night Vision LPBP-GO is designed as a much more rugged and user-friendly system than USGI ANVIS battery packs and is compatible with any ANVS/ANVIS-style ball-detent mount such as the AB Night Vision STORM and FURY mounts, SAM mounts, and Wilcox GSGM/DPAM/AERONOX mounts. The LPBP-GO is also compatible with any other NVD utilizing a LEMO connection, such as the AB Night Vision RNVG and TNVC TNV/PVS-14-PBM-A.
