The items for sale are a like new pair of Russian military ROMZ 1PN105 generation 2+ low-profile night vision goggles, their head mount, tanker helmet mount, a pair of mounting brackets, two rubber eye cups, battery charger, external power supply, vehicle power adapter, MOLLE carrying case with shoulder strap, padded waterproof hard case, metal storage box, spare refillable desiccant cartridge, a bag of desiccant crystals and cleaning supplies. The goggles have only been used briefly for testing prior to being listed. The serial numbers have been removed and painted over on both the goggles and storage box. Aside from this, the goggles are brand new and work flawlessly.
The tubes have no blemishes or burn-in. The padded, waterproof case has been custom fit for the goggles, with cutouts in the foam for a mounting bracket, both eye cups, a spare battery and cleaning supplies.
The case also has four desiccant inserts in the corners to remove moisture in case the goggles are stored after being used in rain or snow. The goggles are extremely compact and do not stick out far from the face of the operator, making them very well suited for use inside vehicles and confined spaces. Being generation 2+, the goggles provide outstanding light amplification, but also have a built in IR illuminator for use in complete darkness. The goggles are powered by a single AA battery. The internal desiccant cartridge is replaceable and refillable. Two are included, one sealed spare and one already installed in the goggles.
The desiccant crystals change color when exposed to moisture, allowing the operator to see at a glance when replacement is required. The battery charger, vehicle power adapter and external power supply all use Russian style plugs. Refer to pictures for further details regarding condition.
