   All I can tell you is there is a Gen-3 tube in it that may or may not work? I put new batteries in it and it will not work the switch seems to be damaged. If you turn the switch to the left nothing happens in the ON or IR position. If you turn the switch to the right nothing happens in the ON position. However in the IR position a red indicator light comes on in the left eyepiece. The switch feels like someone tried to turn the switch to IR without pushing. Surplus AN/PVS-7A Generation 3 night vision goggles. Housing and tube are in very good condition. Tube is sharp and there are a few small dots / blemishes in zones 1, 2, and 3. This unit includes an IR illuminator for up close use see the last four photos - photo of the gun bag was taken through the right eye piece, without and with the IR illuminator; photo of the hacksaw on the wall was taken through the left eye piece without and with the illuminator turned on.
