US NIGHT VISION GOGGLES MOD. # AN/PVS-5A TESTED WORKING READ DESCRIPTION W/ CASE. These goggles have been tested with AA batteries and work. The right lens works fine but the left lens has shading. This is most likely due to the night vision crystal which would need repaired or replaced according to my understanding from looking at the manual.

It is most noticeable with the infrared engaged where it does not operate fully enough to see the infrared. The right eye lens sees infrared fine and can see in total black with it.
