   PVS-7 gen 2 with helmet and rhino mount. Im a college freshman so this setup was a great way to get into night vision without spending six grand. Bought the PVS-7 as a gen 2+ unit but I dont know the difference between 2 and 2+ so Im not chancing it. It has one small unnoticeable blemish that I circled in one picture. Some dings and scrapes but nothing that would seriously hurt it. Runs off of one CR123 battery. Has one front focus and a focus for each eye.    US NIGHT VISION GOGGLES MOD. # AN/PVS-5A TESTED WORKING READ DESCRIPTION W/ CASE. These goggles have been tested with AA batteries and work. The right lens works fine but the left lens has shading. This is most likely due to the night vision crystal which would need repaired or replaced according to my understanding from looking at the manual. It is most noticeable with the infrared engaged where it does not operate fully enough to see the infrared. The right eye lens sees infrared fine and can see in total black with it.
