The GENTEX HGU-56/6 X-Small Helicopter Flight Helmet is an authentic, original item from the United States military. This helmet is designed for helicopter pilots and features the capability to be equipped with night vision goggles, making it a valuable addition to any militaria collection.
In excellent condition, this helmet is a piece of current military equipment that remains in use, showcasing the quality and functionality of items produced by Gentex for the modern military cockpit.
Gentex ACH Medium High-Cut Conversion comes with rails. Norotos titanium nvg mount, knock off team wendy pads, issued ach chin strap, and extra boa chin strap. Cuts aren't 100% perfect towards back of ears but not that noticeable when wearing. If it fits too snug you can swap out the pads or move them around.
The helmet is used but in good condition. There are scratches on the helmet from normal use, but nothing that will affect the performance of the item. This listing is for the Gentex Enhanced Combat Helmet ECH Medium NVG Mount only, no box.
This particular helmet is utilized by US Navy special operations and Coast Guard boat crews. Size is listed as small, however, it fits my head quite well and typically I wear a L / XL FAST helmet.
Helmet shell is similar to non-ballistic CVC shell, with Ops-Core rails.
