   Have been stored in paper and bubble. The ones I have opened looked unused or possibly lighty used, then stored. Just a few scratches on the sides from being moved around. Clear glass one side, yellow glass other as seen in pics. Tag on box with lenses said Noctron V , 3X, Avimo. I have seen these converted used on nose cones for pvs-7's and other things.    All I can tell you is there is a Gen-3 tube in it that may or may not work? I put new batteries in it and it will not work the switch seems to be damaged. If you turn the switch to the left nothing happens in the ON or IR position. If you turn the switch to the right nothing happens in the ON position. However in the IR position a red indicator light comes on in the left eyepiece. The switch feels like someone tried to turn the switch to IR without pushing. Surplus AN/PVS-7A Generation 3 night vision goggles. Housing and tube are in very good condition. Tube is sharp and there are a few small dots / blemishes in zones 1, 2, and 3.    Tube one one has a couple small blems in the outer rim and the other is clear as well. Ill do my best to detail this in the pictures. What makes these special are the serial numbers. Not only are they sequential, they are the earliest version of the PVS18 with serial numbers of 0035 & 0036 (the stuff these tubes have seen).
